(Monday, December 13th 6:00-9:00pm unless otherwise notified)

* Tryouts for girls age 18 and under (born 1993 & later)
* At the SIAST Woodland Campus Gym- enter through the main doors on 15 Street East

* 10:00am-11:30am: 14U (1997)
* 12:00pm-1:30pm: 15U (1996)
* 1:30pm-3:00pm: 16U (1995)
* 3:00pm-5:00pm: 17U & 18U (1993-94)

THE CHILDREN’S WISH FOUNDATION

Hosting their annual Wishmaker Walk on Oct. 16th 2010, in Prince Albert. The walk is a fundraiser to help to continue to grant the wishes of children who are suffering from critical and life threatening illnesses. We are still searching for a few more volunteers to help with the planning of the walk. If you or anyone you know might be interested in volunteering sometime to help us, we would really appreciate it.

THE PRINCE ALBERT IRISH DANCE ACADEMY

Continues to take new registrations. Lessons take place on Sundays at the Prince Albert Optimist Centre. The Academy offers lessons to boys and girls, aged 5 and up as well as adults. Dancers are charged a $50 Costume Fee to cover the use of shoes and costumes. For more information call Brenda at 922-8569 or Lori at 764-3310.5:30 – 8:00 P.M.

The Evangelizing Parish:

September 30-October 1, 2011 -The Evangelizing Parish: Vision, Passion, Practice – This formative event will break open the Church’s vision of evangelization. Through time of prayer, presentation, reflection and faith-sharing, participants will be drawn deeply into this vision and its implications for their own lives and the lives of their communities of faith. They will deepen their passion for Christ’s mission and their understanding. Participants would include all Parish leaders, Ordained, Lay, Paid, Volunteer, and all ministry coordinators ex: Liturgical, Educational, Social Outreach, etc. A downloadable brochure will be able available 6 months in advance and many webinars are able at www.naforum.org/new_site/

Mont St. Joseph Home has a Junior Volunteer program for students in
grades 7 through 12. You may register Sept 1-10, 2010 from 3:30 to 4:30 each day.
Register at the Volunteer Services Dept. at Mont St. Joseph Home.
Mandatory orientation will be held on Wed. Sept. 15 at 4pm.
Volunteer positions fill quickly so register early!
