A Three Part Faith Formation In-Service Program:

St. Mark Roman Catholic Parish, Prince Albert, SK
PART I: Parent Session; 10:00 am – noon
Local leaders (diocesan, parish and
school leaders) AND Parents of children of all ages are invited
While
parents are the primary audience, the morning will introduce the material to
church leaders and provide a preview of a session that you may wish to
replicate in your parish or school. (Diocese will provide trainers)
Church
leaders are strongly encouraged to attend this session, but if unable, are
still welcome to attend Part II.
PART II: In-Service for Local Leaders; 1:00 pm –
3:30 pm
(Lunch
included for those who RSVP)
All Pastors, Catechists, Parish and
School Leaders are invited.
This
program will help diocesan/parish/ school leaders to critically examine the
formation system needed for meeting parents where they are, in order to walk
with them in forming families of faith.
Part
III: Training for Local Team; 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
(Supper
included for those who RSVP)
Anyone
wishing to become a trainer can contact
Warren
Dungen or Christine Taylor at the Diocese.
This session will train local
presenters to integrate and replicate the two-hour parent sessions through a
parish’s annual sacramental preparation process or other parent gathering.
