Registration is for house league teams. Please bring 2 cheques and hospitalization to complete your registration.

Children’s Art Gala

THE PA SPEED SKATING CLUB

Will be offering another "Learn to Skate" program at the Art Hauser Centre. This program teaches the basics of skating in a fun and safe environment. All ages and skill levels are welcome to join. Ice practices run on Tuesdays from 5:45 to 6:25 p.m. The cost is $75.00. The ice times are as follows: Tuesday February 1, Tuesday February 8, Tuesday March 1, Tuesday March 8, Tuesday March 15. CREATIVE EXPRESSION THRU ART

Art Therapy is a way to explore and express feelings and emotions through the creation of art, as well as the discovery of it’s meaning. This class is for children ages 12-15. Kiwanis Music Festival

Registration Deadline is January 22, 2011 at the John M. Cuelenaere Library 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Entry forms are available online at www.smfa.ca. Entry fees are $15 for solo/duet performances and $30 for band/small/group/choir (A list of band/ensemble members and their ages must be submitted with the group registration.
Vocals: (solos, choruses, ensembles, speech arts) March 13, 14, 15
Strings: (Orchestra, violin, viola, bass, cello, guitar) March 23, 24
Piano: March 28, 29, 30 and 31
Band: (all school bands welcome) April 4, 5, 6
Instrumentals: (brass, woodwind, percussion) April 11, 12, 13, 14
To qualify for a district scholarship each individual named on the entry form must enter and compete in at least two class in the same discipline 1 to 5.

Prince Albert Ukrainian Dance Festival

We are please to inform you of the 24th Annual Prince Albert Ukrainian Dance Festival commencing on April 8th and concluding on April 10, 2011. The Festival will take place at the E.A.Rawlinson Centre for the Arts. In order to run a festival of this magnitude we are in need of a large number of volunteers. This is a great opportunity for students to use our festival to fulfil student volunteer programs within the school.
We are currently looking for people to fill the following positions; Ushers, Canteen, Kitchen, Admissions, Door Prize Table, Back Stage Door, Practice Area, Medals/Timer. Morning , Afternoon and Evening Shifts are available.
We will need to know as soon as possible (by the end of February), if you are able to help us out with any of the shifts. As a volunteer of our festival, you would be entitled to a pass for any of the eleven sessions for our festival.
