Prince Albert Speed Skating Club

Looking for new members to join our club!  Speed skating will be part of the Saskatchewan Winter Games that is hosted in Prince Albert in February 2014.  Children age 11-14 may qualify to participate in the Games.  We will be having a 2 week (4 lesson) free trial period for new skaters to the club.

Learn to Skate Program for beginner skaters - Fall Session: October - December (9 lessons)

The Red River Roping and Riding Club is holding their annual summer camp starting July 1st. We have 9 weeks available throughout July and August. Camps run Monday to Friday and focus on learning safety around horses, riding skills through lessons and games as well have many other great activities. A Three Part Faith Formation In-Service Program:

St. Mark Roman Catholic Parish, Prince Albert, SK

PART I: Parent Session; 10:00 am – noon

Local leaders (diocesan, parish and school leaders) AND Parents of children of all ages are invited

While parents are the primary audience, the morning will introduce the material to church leaders and provide a preview of a session that you may wish to replicate in your parish or school. (Diocese will provide trainers)

Church leaders are strongly encouraged to attend this session, but if unable, are still welcome to attend Part II.

PART II: In-Service for Local Leaders; 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

(Lunch included for those who RSVP)

All Pastors, Catechists, Parish and School Leaders are invited.

This program will help diocesan/parish/ school leaders to critically examine the formation system needed for meeting parents where they are, in order to walk with them in forming families of faith.

Part III: Training for Local Team;  4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

(Supper included for those who RSVP)

Anyone wishing to become a trainer can contact

This session will train local presenters to integrate and replicate the two-hour parent sessions through a parish’s annual sacramental preparation process or other parent gathering.

To be held Friday, April 19th from 5pm—8pm and Saturday, April 20th 9am to 1pm.
