Prince Albert Minor Baseball

Registration for the 2013 Baseball Season on Thursday, March 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. & Saturday March 9th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Zone 8 Sports
Council Building (Behind the Art Hauser Arena). We will also be holding Late Registration on Saturday, April 6th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Prince Albert Minor Baseball welcomes all Players born 1995 - 2005. P.A. Minor Baseball has 5 Divisions Rookie, Mosquito, Pee-Wee, Bantam and Midget.
For the Rookie Division we run the Rally Cap Program. Baseball Canada launched this initiative nation-wide in 2006, and we are pleased to offer this program for players and coaches in order to enhance their first experience with the game of baseball. This year PA Minor Baseball will be offering this Program either on Monday/Wednesday nights or Tuesday/Thursday nights. 

Searching For The Stars

Auditions will be held March 24th at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. on February 11th. Call 306-765-1270. You must register before 12:00 noon of Friday, March 22nd. 

Marion Aquatics

Marion Aquatics is taking registrations for the Winter Break and the Easter Break.
Monday & Wednesday: 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday & Thursday: 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. You can also leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. During those breaks, we have daily lessons: 9:45 – 11:15, 11:30 – 1:00, 2:30 – 4:00

Block Parent Program

Currently in Prince Albert, there is no Block Parent Program. We are hoping to have it rejuvenated, and need Block Parents to do just that. Block Parent homes are safe homes for anyone, especially children, to go to if in need of help, scared or troubled. All Block Parents are police screened, and signs are not handed out to just anybody.

Terry Fox Award - Nominations being accepted

Nomination deadline is December 21, 2012
Nominations are now being accepted for the City of Prince Albert Terry Fox Medal and Citation.
The Terry Fox Medal and Citation was established by the City of Prince Albert to recognize those traits in one of its young citizens which best emulate the ideals and inspiration of one of Canada’s leading citizens, the late Terry Fox. This annual award serves to perpetuate the memory of his heroic achievement, while acknowledging tangible accomplishments for one who closely identifies with Terry’s ideals.
Eligible candidates may be male or female and must be under 21 years of age in the calendar year of the award. Candidates must have been a resident of the City of Prince Albert at least four continuous months during the calendar year of the award or in full-time attendance at a recognized educational institution within the city. Persons who have been nominated in prior years but who were not successful, remain eligible for nomination provided all other conditions are met.
