The Social
Support Research Program at the University of Alberta with Anaphylaxis Canada and the Asthma Society of Canada would like to find
out how we can help children and youth manage asthma/severe allergies/anaphylaxis.
We will delivering an online
support programs for: children (7-11) and youth (12-15) with asthma or severe
allergies (anaphylaxis). The support program includes 8 sessions over 8 weeks over
the Internet on a secure, monitored meeting/webinar website. Each group of 6 will be facilitated by a Peer
Mentor (16-22) who has asthma or severe allergies in partnership with a Health
Care Professional.
All participants will get a
token of our thanks in the form of gift certificates for each portion of the
study you complete.
